New York is the 2nd best state to be a police officer in. That is great news. Do hope that people remember that NYC has a lot of crime. Also, it is quite expensive. Just think that they probably did not factor that in.

Friends, empty derelict malls do haunt us. They use to be so busy many years ago. Sadly, that is no longer our case.

Malls have a lot more vacancies. Empty stores are many. Sadly, this is a reflection of our ongoing economic crisis. Yeah, it is one thing that analysts cannot paper over. Please do wake up. Help wanted signs are few and beggars are many. Like that should certainly be a lesson for all of us.

Salmonella was found at a farm for eggs. They had a lot of mice. Oh yes, the rodent problem was serious. Well, that should indeed not surprise us any. After all, mice love to hang out in farms because they love to eat grain. Basically, one of their favorite foods is corn. It is best that we plan for these issues.

Chicago river

Take a look at the Chicago river. It has indeed been a cold year. The high tomorrow is still in the 30's and summer is near. Brothers and sisters, we do wonder about all this talk about global warming. Funny, as we do not see any. Instead, we believe that we might soon face a chilling new ice age. Yeah, we could soon be approaching a new solar minimum.
