Gold going up

Investors are in a state of panic. Gold is going up. This is not a max major surprise. Expect metals to perform well this year. Dollar is weak and so is the euro. People go to gold to find an investment that is both safe and secure. Few things are more secure than bars of gold in a bank vault in swiss.

The future is a world with a virtual currency. OK so using this system of exchange we can purchase virtual products and virtual services. It is like we will live in a virtual world most of the time and not so much in the real one. Folks, this is coming. What we need to do is get ready and prepare.

Radio Shack gone

Radio Shack projects weak earnings. This is not good news. Basically, Julian Day CEO of Radio Shack is retiring and the company will soon be gone. There are many reason. Limited selection is one. Also, low quality and max prices. Steven Gibbs did predict that Radio Shack will not survive. This is just around the corner.

Second sun

Earth may soon have a second sun. Betelguese is about to go supernova. This is a red super giant in the constellation orion. OK so get ready for some fire works soon. It could happen this year even. Folks, that would be wow. Like a binary star system of our very own. Hey, that would be something special for us. That said, I feel that 2012 would be a better year.

They say - you are what you eat, and I agree. Politicians should feast on some lion meat tacos, because they have been feasting on rabbit if you know what I mean. Perhaps it is time to roar. Hey, got some um Lion meat taco for me...

Politics as usual

It is politics as usual again. People in DC love to spend money. Yeah, as in yours. Their method is to raise taxes and spend more money. Well, there was a goose laying golden eggs. It was the printing press. OK so the problem is that they printed too much currency. This is the end of the goose. People around the world are going to stop accepting our currency. Politicians are epsilon morons. Well, at least our version.

Housing sags

Housing is Achilles heel of US economy. Construction continues to sag. There is little demand for new houses now. People are still trying to save money. Most are waiting for a further fall in prices. This means sales as slow and prices low as we move into the new year. Typically housing leads an economic recovery. However, we are still mire in a recession. Sadly, any recovery is a mirage.

I am FED up. Where is our money?

gas prices

Most of the USA gas price map is in red meaning over $3/gallon due to rising gas prices. However, some areas near Texas are still in green. These will disappear later this year. Already, I am hearing excuses. For example, the Alaska pipe line shutting down is one. Well, Alaska supplies less than 5% of our energy. This is only a drop in the bucket as they say. Take a look at the map. It was all green last year.

BP cleanup?

BP cleanup is a cover up. That is what we are hearing now. Sadly, most of us knew this was so. However, debunkers claim that everything is fine and we are crazy. Fact is BP left an oily mess. Debunkers accuse us of wearing tine foil hats and spewing conspiracy. That said things are not improving. BP lied to us. Politicians grabbed a bunch of money. Then they gave the oil men a pass. Well, what can we say now.

ebayers in woe

Sadly, many unemployed workers turn to ebay to make some money. Well, I have some grim news. Ebayers, you are going to get a low price. There is a lot of competition chasing the same consumers. It does not look good for you. Blame our poor economy. Yeah, I did say poor. That is what we are now. Still ebayers, if you have a hot item, you can still make some green.

coworker spaces increase

People are seeing an increase in coworker spaces. This is a good sign. Small biz is ramping up. Sadly, many coworkers are not making any money. Hey, this is so. Take with a grain of salt this expansion. Yeah, one grain.

Food prices up

Record high food prices is our news. What do politicians say? There is plenty of food, everything is fine, and you are a nut case. LOOK, I am very busy right now. Then, they run out of the room.

Busy doing what I ask you. Probably it is taking campaign contributions from corporate big wigs. They do not care on our poor.

no forcing us

That is what the law says. Basically, gov cannot force us to buy insurance. Well, I hope so. That is a good idea for me. That said, I am sure we will here from insurance execs. What they want is to get our money.

Future of copper

copper pennyWhat is the future of copper? Well it hit a record high today again. This is good news. OK so that said, we are running out of copper. People need to become more aware. Fact is, copper is vital to our economy. What we are seeing is a massive increase in price. Inflation as they say, is on the way.

Fish kill is massive

Friends, I have some grim news. Sadly, these was a fish kill that is massive. There was a large affected area. Mainly, the Arkansas river. Birds were falling out of the sky a few days ago. Politicians say that everything is fine, and if you complain you are a certified nut case. This instead of looking for a fish kill cause.

Sunday, January 2, 2011

DEADtroit

DEADtroit is what they call it now. Let face facts, Detroit is in ruins. This was a great city once. Sadly, that is no longer the case. People see it as a poster child for urban decay and massive crime. Frankly, is looks like post nuke america. Hard to imagine the 2011 photographs of DEADtroit are pre war. WWIII that is.

Falling housing prices

Housing prices continue to fall even more. As always there is only one place where they are going up. DC that is. This is a very grim sign. People, there is no recovery. Fact is we were sold down the river. Sadly, promises of our recovery getting better are a false mirage. Please, we have been burned before by political promise. They seldom come true - if ever.
