Look out, the holiday season is near. Well, that is what we are now saying. Most people are counting pennies. Still, I expect more store closures from sears. Certainly, the parking lot is empty or near so. Rightly, we do ponder about what the fate is of the retail scene. All those customers can save some major money... going online now. Expect a lot of troubled malls to close their doors next year.

For some reason, we see microscopes in science. This is interesting to me. Like I once had a microscope many years ago. It was gathering a lot of dust in a corner. Hey, using it was so rare. OK, so case in point, we see a microscope in a movie. Right afterward a mad scientist appears. Colleagues, this technique is almost a cliche and passe.

Ah yes, red is a favorite color of mine. Its hue feels so warm. Yet, there is an interesting worry. Like why does it feel warmer an say orange? Hey, we do not have all the answers. That said, there are indeed so many questions that we do wish to ask you. Just hope that we can get some answers.

Two men were trapped in a burning car. It was full of smoke and then some more. Few things are as scary... as a car fire, but lack of time is an enemy. Oh my, let us see what is going on. It is best that we be quick on a stick and really gets moving. Both men were screaming.

Often, I ask the question - where we going? It is not rhetorical as we give no answer. That said, I do wonder about the destination that we are taking as life is an interesting voyage.

Biotech promised a lot of jobs for us. However, they are few and the need is for many. Yeah, high tech is low pay. Also, we need to add that it is short on delivery and long on promises. Basically, it reminds me of politicians that we see. Like every day that goes by it is more promises. Few are kept if any. Well, that should not surprise us.

Robots are coming

Robots are coming. They are taking jobs away. Fellows, these steel collar workers do not take a break or ask for pay increases. Well, not yet anyway. Like they get smarter every year.

Just remember that it is a lot more than robots or flying cars. Technology marches on.

California fires

California fires produced as much pollution in two days as all the states cars in one year. OK, so the solution is to ban matches of course. Yeah, and we should also ban cars. Make people use a bicycle from now on. Maybe that way... we can stop global warming. Remember that animals are a lot more important than persons. Otherwise, the number of fires might increase.

China warns us of a collapse in asset prices.  Folks, wake up... like we are so serious. Times do change for us. Future is a bit more gray. Do wonder why they even warn us. Hey, it could all get very messy. Please keep your chin up.  Just remember, that we might soon face another depression or recession.

Computer bugs are quite common. Look at new apps. Often the can cause your phone to lock up. Well, that is a pain. Just remember that we underpay programmers. Netflix price increase is woe. Just look at their new movies. What do we even see? OK, so the quality keeps on going down and the price going up. Folks, this cannot go on. Most of the Netflix original movies are sour. Do wish they had great content, but this is not our case.

Oh wow, technology moves at great speed, but that is necessary. Sadly, we are not getting better, but we are worse. Like we gotta wake up. Breathe in some pure air. High tech feels so very cold and sterile to me. Certainly, it lacks a vital factor as if something important is missing.

China wages are rising. This is positive news. Do hope they rise in america. However, we see fewer companies. Most are cutting costs or down sizing.

I doubt sears can survive. This is probably their last holiday season. Just look at toys r us if you do not believe me. Sadly, the toy seller went bankrupt a few days ago. For Eddie Lampert this should be a message. Basically, he needs to wake up. It is time to sleep the coffee in a new morning. Retail is going online and big stores are going away.

Gold is a metal most precious. Do we like the yellow color? Incas say that it is the sweat of the sun. Certainly, it is a beautiful color, but that is not the only reason. Oh yes, it appears that gold has retained its value for thousands of years. Fact is, many great people who did prize it were emperors.

80% of Puerto Rico is without power. Maria was a monster and did a lot of damage to the island and people are picking up pieces. Fellows this is very serious. Be brave and take some courage.

Ah yes, zip codes with pricey mansions are now. Here are the top 25 for you. Rich get richer and the poor are poorer. Bottom of the pyramid is increasing in size. Most firms are trying to trim expenses.  Office Depot might go bankrupt soon. Yeah, that should not surprise us.

Uber has its first employee step down now. Well, this is sad news. Do wish him all the best as that was no doubt an exciting company. He was a very driven person. Could be that he will find new avenues.

Netflix suffered a major blow when it and Disney broke up. Sadly, the result is that it will probably not be the same company. Original content will reign supreme. Well, we all do change and we do not remain same.

What exactly is a log jam? Basically, a bunch of fallen tree trunks can block a river. Also, it refers to stubborn intractable problems that are hard to remove. Most of these can be quite annoying.

What does um RED mean? Often it means an emergency.Maybe yellow is a warning. People respond to red or crimson. It is of all colors the most warm. Actually, a close second is orange. Yellow lacks some of the heat, but has more pop.

First, our jobs were sent overseas. Second, we have no money. Third, the malls are going away. Look, this is serious... it affects all of us. What we see... are many vacancies.

Churches tend to have a lot of empty pews. I have noticed that this problem is getting worse. Maybe this is the effect of school teaching kids that evolution is true and religious people are crazy. Well, time will tell as we say.

Microsoft wants to eliminate the rural broadband gap. This will cost billions, but here we go. Most farmers are too busy to go online anyway. Hope for the best, but we fear things are going to get max worse.

Uber needs a new CEO that is nice.  He or she should be a Ferrari instead of a yugo. Oh wow, this person... can be the opposite of the old one. Meet the new boss same as the old boss does not work anymore. Just look at this sorry company. Fact one, Uber lost 2.6 billion last year. Hey, it cannot keep on going this way.

Home prices rise. That said, most are still below the peak of the bubble that happened a few years ago. It has been a long recession. Politicians claim things are better now. Frankly, we are not so sure. Do hope we can recover.

People are not buying no new cars. Old clunkers litter our main avenues. Yeah, it has been a bumpy road for all of us. Do blame our ongoing economic crisis. Frankly, it feels like we are in a depression or a massive recession.

Podcasting

Podcasting is good for you. Ah yes, we probably will never be in a mansion. Unless we get a job selling real estate that is. Yachts exist only in our dreams, but podcasting is easy. Well, there is little compensation in terms of money. Still, the fun factor is max. Please add that we do not have to dress up.

California

California sees taxes go up. Houses are already very expensive. Expect this trend to have an effect on our poor. Already, we see that California has some of the highest taxes in this nation of ours.  Yet, the state has trouble paying its overdue bills due to lack of money. OK, so the solution according to our elected officials is to raise TAXES even more. Basically, this is similar to giving a stinking drunk some more wine.
