This is what we fear, but we are no seer. Collapse is near. US dollar has been losing value after it left the gold standard, but we see... like a future that is very grim.

Scientists clone a monkey - yes. That might not surprise us. Hey, it is an interesting universe we are in. People could be next on the list, but there we are. Cooler egg heads may prevail and we certainly hope so. World might start cloning sports figures and big winners.

Dogs are friends of mine. However, cats are not my enemies. Like that are OK if they behave themselves and do not cause issues.

Tomorrow

Tomorrow might indeed be a brighter day for us. Frankly, we are not so sure. Like there is so much in this world of ours that makes no sense. It reminds me of the lament of the old mariner. He said while he was out at sea, water, I see water everywhere, but not one drop to drink.

holiday season

Look out, the holiday season is near. Well, that is what we are now saying. Most people are counting pennies. Still, I expect more store closures from sears. Certainly, the parking lot is empty or near so. Rightly, we do ponder about what the fate is of the retail scene. All those customers can save some major money... going online now. Expect a lot of troubled malls to close their doors next year.
