Time Travel

If we were to time travel back to 1850 we see slavery in full swing. Democrats favor rights of rich owners. However, republicans favor the right of slaves who cannot vote and are poor. Fast forward a few years. Slavery is over. Republicans win. South democrats pass laws to limit voting via poor. Poll tax is common. Colored drinking fountains are put in. Non white rights get taken away again. It is the jim crow era. However, you do not need Steven Gibbs time machine to know that 95% or more of blacks will vote for Obama in the election that is coming.
