oldest English words
Actually, the oldest English words have been around for thousands of years. Languages evolve slowly over time, but we know that words change in meaning. For example look at the term gay. It use to mean happy, then effeminate, and ugly now. Perhaps we could speak to people in the future, but they might not understand our slang any.
